Preventive measures required at the time of laceration!

In our daily life, we all face some kind of minor accidental activity and must be aware of the term Laceration and if not, then let us discuss about it. Laceration is a sort of minor bleeding or a wound caused that occurs when tear your skin like cut on your finger, at the time of shave, wound caused during playing and many more.
While few of the minor lacerations can be treated at home, but some deep injuries require medical attention.

Injury should be washed immediately so that whatever dirt is deposited on the wound is immediately removed and there are no chances of being infected.

Once the wound is cleaned thoroughly, then gently apply a clean towel over the wound with some pressure so that blood flow stops. Repeat the process for five to fifteen minutes until the bleeding stops.

Once you are done with the procedure, use an antibacterial ointment to apply that will prevent the wound from any bacteria that can be the source of infection. After that, apply a clean bandage on the wound and cover it properly so that wound is not exposed to any germs or contact with water.

However, liquid bandages are of optimal use in treating minor wounds. The bandage consists of glue that easily sticks on the cut.

Make sure that you dressing on the regular basis in order to prevent the infection. Dressing depends on many factors including the depth of injury, bleeding.
